Stacey Shipman (nee West) is a main character from the TV series, Gavin and Stacey. The show is based around Stacey's relationship with her boyfriend (later husband), Gavin.

She lives with her mother, Gwen, in Barry, Wales. She has a brother called Jason. Her father Trevor, died when she was in her early twenties. Her best friend is called Nessa who practically lives with Stacey and Gwen. Stacey married her boyfriend Gavin Shipman just over 8 months after their first contact. They first made contact on the phone 6 months before their first meeting, through working for sister companies: Stacey works for a electronics company called Bedmores, while Gavin works for an computer firm called ICB. Stacey left her job at Bedmores when she moved to Essex to live with Gavin after their wedding. Upon their return to Barry due to Gavin's relocation to the ICB branch in Cardiff, Stacey gets a job as an employee of Marco's Cafe.
